Good evening, honoured visitor. Good evening and greetings. The Long Night is coming, and I have much that I must say before then…

First, you should consider if you are indeed at the right place. This is not a fantasy, not a story (or at least, not in the usual sense of such things), and the thoughts I voice may not rest easy with you. Nor are they meant to.

They are meant to awaken you. To make you think and doubt and reconsider. And, if you wish, to debate.

We live, as the ancient Chinese curse goes, “in interesting times,” as evidenced by the antics of Trump, the machinations of Putin, and the long-range scheming of Xi Jinping. But interesting and powerful as they may be, they still are only figureheads of a kind – shadows cast upon the screen of history by currents and forces which moves through all of human society.

And those are what this Blog is all about.
